Frome Renewable Energy Co-op is launching its first community shares next week on Thursday 14 May at Frome Town Football Club, where you’ll have the chance to find out more about this cooperative and their future plans. As well as cutting carbon the scheme aims to pay investors a 6% return on investment and tax breaks under the Enterprise Investment Scheme. All surplus profits are planned to go into a community fund to support other local carbon cutting projects.
