Market Place
Somerset County Council have issued a temporary road closure notice restricting vehicle access to Market Place from its junction with Cork Street, north-eastwards to its junction with Scott Road for approximately 104 metres. This notice is for temporary pedestrianisation to facilitate social distancing in shopping areas during Covid-19 and for the Market Place improvements to be made.
This closure will be effective from 22nd June 2020 and will remain in force for a maximum of 21 days. Somerset County Council will issue a further 21-day Notice following this, to allow the Market Place improvement work to continue. The restrictions will only apply when indicated by traffic signs.

Caxton Road
Somerset County Council have issued a temporary road closure prohibiting all traffic from travelling along Caxton Road for a distance of approximately 51 metres.
This order will enable Brandwells Construction Ltd to carry out excavation and installation of new sewer lines to service new residential development.
The works are expected to commence on 13th July 2020 and last for 19 days.

Feltham Hill Road
Somerset County Council have issued a temporary road closure prohibiting all traffic from travelling along Feltham Hill Road from the junction with A361 Frome Bypass, north-westwards for a distance of 100 metres.
This order will enable Crestmoor Construction for SCC to carry out masonry repair work to the bridge.
The works are expected to commence on 13th July 2020 and last for 19 days.

Somerset County Council have issued a temporary road closure prohibiting all traffic from travelling from the junction with Grange Road for a distance of 55 metres.

Brunel Way and Stephenson Drive
Somerset County Council have issued a temporary road closure prohibiting all traffic from travelling from the junction with Clink Road to 25m northeast of the junction with Clink Road; including Stephenson Drive from the junction with Brunel Way for a distance of 25m for a total distance of 245 metres.
This order will enable Somerset Highways to carry out phased preparation works and surface dressing in this road.
This closure will be effective on the 15th and 16th July.

Somerset County Council have issued a temporary road closure prohibiting all traffic from travelling along Marston Lane for a distance of approximately 99 metres.
This order will enable HSC Worcester Ltd to renew a decaying pole on behalf of BT Openreach.
This closure will be effective on 16th July, with works expected to commence on 20th July and last for one day (9.30am-3.30pm)
