Frome Town Council are aiming to put a spring in everyone’s step with their spring offer on Electric Bike hire. Electric assistance helps to reduce the strain of cycling up hills and makes cycling more fun. It is also excellent for those people who are wishing to cut down on their carbon emissions
Emma Parker the FTC project officer responsible said “Take the strain out of the hills and put a spring in your saddle with 50% off Ebike hire throughout April and May 2018. Enter the code SPRING at the checkout for your 50% discount. This brings the price down to just £5 for a whole day and makes it accessible to all.”
Councillor Rich Ackroyd says “Electric bikes are a fantastic way to enjoy the outdoors, to see the town or even to commute. We’d like people to enjoy these bikes and be as enthused as us about this alternative transport. By introducing this low offer we hope to introduce more people to the benefits and ultimately get more people enjoying this mode of transport.”

And for those people who are a little unsure, Frome Town Council are also offering buddy rides – these involve a volunteer going for a ride with you to help build everyone’s confidence. They are by arrangement and subject to availability so do email info@frometowncouncil.gov.uk to make arrangements.
Pick up and drop off point for the bikes is at Cycology Bikes, Frome.
