New Year, New Times & New Resolutions?
We know that school holidays are expensive times, and so is Christmas. So make a resolution to be prepared and start saving with Mendip Community Credit Union.
“By saving regularly you will build up a useful ‘rainy day’ fund to pay for things like holidays, birthday presents and school trips. Also, if everything goes wrong at once (for example your washing machine breaks down at the same time as the children need new school clothes), then you can apply to MCCU for a loan at competitive interest rates. Just bring proof of identity, recent proof of your address and your National Insurance number and our friendly volunteers will set you up with a savings account. You can pop in on Thursday mornings to top up your account – do it regularly and you’ll find your savings grow quicker than you think!” – John Warman, Frome co-ordinator for MCCU.
Mendip Community Credit Union are changing the opening times of their Service Point at the Key Centre, Feltham Lane, Frome, Somerset, BA11 5A. From Thursday 18th January we will be open from 10:00 to 12:00 noon.
