The latest session from Frome Town Council’s Retrofit project takes place on Tuesday 3rd September at Frome Town Hall, from 7.30pm to 9pm. This month’s theme is moisture & ventilation, hosted by Community Retrofit Lead Sally Richards, open to anyone wishing to find out more about preventing and tackling damp and condensation in your home.
This free event will explore how you can identify if you have a problem moisture (damp, mould, condensation) and where it is coming from. It will also consider what ‘build tight and ventilate right’ means and why it’s so important.
Community Retrofit lead Sally Richards said: “These sessions offer a welcoming and friendly environment to share specialist knowledge and a unique opportunity to create a retrofit community, including signposting for local building professionals. So whether you are looking for help or delivering retrofitting services – please do join me to find out more. These sessions are free to attend, but please do book your free space in advance so we know how many people to expect.”
Retrofit events are supported by the Centre for Sustainable Energy in Bristol who have decades of experience of providing help to people who are in fuel poverty and advising communities on how to transition towards Net Zero.
The Retrofit project is part of the lottery-funded Green and Healthy Frome, a partnership between Edventure, Frome Medical Practice and Frome Town Council.
