Frome Town Council has been releasing a community guide leaflet annually since 2023, when we partnered with Frome Medical Practice to help signpost residents to the projects, places, community groups as well as help and support they might need for living well in Frome while facing rising costs of living, including a calendar of ‘Warm Spaces’.
This leaflet is designed to help people find what they need quickly and easily. We’ve included resources that either provide the most direct support for urgent needs, or a welcoming first step towards accessing more specific support. We have also made sure to include ways to find support and information in person, by phone and online. Almost everything included in the leaflet is free.
Looking for something more specific? Our FIND directory has over 700 listings.
The leaflet has been updated for 2025 and will be delivered to homes across the town with the Frome Times on 16th January. You can also download it from this page. Paper copies are also available from Frome Town Hall, the Discover Frome Information Point at Frome Library, and various places around town.
Warm Spaces Calendar
Frome Town Council, with partners across Frome, have updated the Warm Spaces calendar for 2024-25. Launched in 2023 as part of Frome’s support with the cost of living, hundreds of residents have enjoyed a warm and friendly welcome, free and low-cost meals, and a chance to get out of the house for a while with no obligation to spend money.
In addition to The Good Heart’s standard opening times, they have lots of free groups and drop-in sessions. These include the popular Tiny Hearts drop-ins for under 5s and their grown ups, the monthly Dying Matters group, and the new Tea and Toasties group for young people over 12. Visit the Good Heart website to see what’s coming up or follow The Good Heart on Facebook.
There are also several weekly drop-ins at the Frome Community Hub at Frome Town Hall.
