Frome Town Council (FTC) are hosting four pop-up banner-making sessions around the town during Frome Kindness Festival (15th to 22nd March), inviting people to come together and celebrate their area and their community ‘superheroes’. The banners will act as a lasting record of the things people love about their area, or their town, and the people who contribute to it. The roll call of local heroes will be read out during the Kindness Festival.
Cllr Philip Campagna said: “What, and who, makes your community great? Who are the Kindness Superheroes on your street? What do you value about where you live? Is there a green space you love to spend time in? An act of kindness you’ve experienced from a neighbour that you’d like to tell the world about? Or neighbours who have become friends through living alongside each other for decades! Join us to celebrate what makes Frome, and your part of it, special.”
