Frome Town Council have published a new edition of the Community Guide, a leaflet listing information and links for Frome residents on a range of topics. These include social drop-ins and mental health support groups, energy and cost-of-living advice, housing information, local transport and more. This is the third edition of the guide, which was created in response to the cost-of-living crisis in the winter of 2022.
Councillor Philip Campagna said “The Community Guide brings together information about a wide range of services and opportunities in our town, all in one place. It makes it easier to find out what’s available to you, whoever you are and whatever your needs. Some people may want information about getting active, joining health walks or Frome Parkrun, or ways to make new friends. Perhaps you want to know about retrofitting your home for greater energy efficiency or bringing your energy bills down. Need to know about public transport options? It’s in the guide! You can also get information about the food bank, where to access a warm space and a free hot meal, or what to do if you’re concerned about someone else. Pick up a copy and keep it to hand”.
Copies of the community guide are available from Frome Town Hall, the Discover Frome point in Frome Library, at Frome Medical Practice, The Good Heart, and at various community venues across the town. The guide is also included in the Winter Warmth Packs available from Frome Town Hall. A digital version can be downloaded from https://bit.ly/community-guide-2025.
