Frome Town Council is looking for new members of its team of volunteer Noticeboard Ambassadors, helping local people stay abreast of what’s happening in and around Frome. A dedicated team maintains the town’s 27 noticeboards, refreshing the display of posters and flyers supplied by local community groups, individuals and businesses, as well as posters for town council events.
Cllr Mark Dorrington said “Our Noticeboard Ambassadors do a great job spreading the word about local activities, groups and events. Most people look after boards near where they live, or on a route they use regularly, so it doesn’t have to be a big time commitment. All you need is a bit of spare time and a willingness to get involved and help provide a brilliant and valued service for our community.”
