With the potentially further energy price hikes this autumn, now is the perfect time to assess your energy usage in your home to see where action can be taken, and savings can be made.
Frome Town Council’s Healthy Homes project has a host of easily accessible information at sessions throughout the summer to ensure your homes are cosy and more efficient when autumn approaches.
The Healthy Homes project is a partnership with the Centre for Sustainable Energy (CSE) and Frome Medical Practice as part of the National Lottery funded Green and Healthy Future Programme. CSE and the team are offering free and impartial energy advice to everyone who wants it through bookable telephone appointments from 9:30am – 2pm on the following dates:
Wednesday 15th June
Tuesday 9th August
Friday 26th August
You can book your free slot here.
The team will also be returning with their very popular drop in cafes held at the Town Hall, the next one will be on Saturday 11th June from 10am – 12pm. No appointment is necessary, why not pop in for a chat and a cuppa and discover some easy energy wins.
Cllr Mark Dorrington said: “We hope as many people as possible will make the most of the free support available. It’s invaluable information to help you slash bills, clear or reduce energy debt, find suitable grant funding to make your home more energy efficient and reduce carbon emissions. At a time when our bills are rising, this information is essential.”
