As we approach the end of April, our minds are focusing, with optimism, on spending more time outdoors and it’s lovely to watch Frome come to life after a long, wet winter.
In particular, it’s great to see the increase in children travelling to school using active methods of transport including bikes and scooters, and hopefully this will continue as the new Safer School Streets trial works to create car-free routes to school.
There are plenty of interesting community events coming up including Great Big Green Week in June. The team are working hard to put together an exciting and inspiring programme so be sure to pop the date in your diary and we will keep you posted on all the activities taking place during the week.
