Around 400 people descended on Victoria Park on the first Saturday of the summer holidays to see Rocktopus launch their new album.
Families brought sun cream, hats, picnics and their best singing voices to the show ready to dance, jump and have a good time. After a dance fest and sing-along, the children were ready to film ‘Change Today’ the video for the new community song about climate change written by children in Frome.
If you’re looking for more fun in the local parks over the summer Nova Sports & Coaching will be holding an open play session in Victoria Park every Thursday from 10am-12pm. A chance for a kick-about football game, a bit of badminton or throwing some nerfs- it’s up to you.
You could also head over to the Old Showfield on Tuesday’s between 11am-12.30pm for fun family games with Somerset Activity & Sports Partnership.
