Free cycling sessions are being offered at the Mount on Saturday 4 July! An experienced team will be on hand to fix bike problems. A free two hour road safety session for 10-13 year olds will also be provided, along with a free lunch. Everyone is welcome to pop to the Key Centre on the Mount from 9.45am.
Anna Francis, Frome Town Council’s Energy and Recycling Officer who is helping to organise the sessions said “This is a great opportunity to get your bike fixed for free and to ensure that your children are safe on the roads. Cycling has so many health, environmental and social benefits, I’d urge any family to take part in this free class. Many children know how to cycle but being able to cycle safely on the roads and brush up their skills and confidence is really important. The funding runs out at the end of July so it’s one of the last opportunities to access this excellent free training.”
