I’m Cathy and I live in Frome, where I run my small business working with hand dyed fabrics. I use natural food waste and plants to dye my materials.
I enjoy seeing what beautiful colours emerge from using onions, blueberries, avocados and anything else I can get my hands on!
As natural materials are so unpredictable, no two pieces of dyed fabric is ever the same (and so products will differ from the photographs, but isn’t that just lovely?)
I am a retired art teacher and have a passion for sewing and embroidery, I run courses in natural dyeing, making lake pigments for textile painting and sewing.
