Our sessions are designed to help you foster connection to nature, yourself and others and to get the most benefits for your health and well-being. Held every other Wednesday, starting on the 22nd of May, 7-9pm, these sessions will be running until the end of September, outdoors at Vallis Veg, an 18-acre organic farm on the outskirts of Frome. Please note that due to the nature of our programme, these sessions are aimed at women, or anyone who identifies as such in a significant way.
We will go on a journey of exploring nature and ourselves, whilst learning about our place in nature and the landscape. By learning traditional, nature-based skills, spending time in nature with others and deepening the knowledge about the natural world, those attending will expand their connection to nature and become empowered to protect it and use it as a useful tool to improve their own wellbeing. We recommend to join all our events, so you can benefit from an in-depth and organic nature connection that celebrates cycles found in nature, seasons and traditional, nature-based skills.
The series is led by Back to Nature, working in partnership with Edventure Frome, Future Shed. Future Shed is part of Green & Healthy Frome, a partnership programme of Edventure Frome, Frome Medical Practice and Frome Town Council taking action on health and climate, funded by the National Lottery’s Climate Action Fund.
