From February 2023, the Memory Cafe will take place on the last Wednesday of every month from 2pm – 5pm.
The Memory Cafe is run by the Frome Dementia Action Alliance, made up of different charities and organisations in Frome who help people with Dementia. These include Active and in Touch, Bluebird Care, Songs for the Memory, Frog Life and Pam Brewster who is the local Dementia Champion and a member of the Inner Wheel.
The cafe is for anyone who has a loved one who has Dementia or Alzheimer’s and is for any carers as well. It’s a place where you can leave your loved ones for a few hours in safe hands or stay and have a tea and a chat – organised by the Inner Wheel.
There will be activities and someone to talk to and find out about services available in the area to support people with dementia.
