The Children with Disability Service sits within Children’s Social Care. We support and safeguard children living in Somerset who have a disability, or are on the pathway for a diagnosis of autism, from birth until their 18th Birthday.
But they recognise that some disabled children have additional needs, or face additional barriers which inhibit and prevent their inclusion in society, it is those children that they endeavour to support.
This service covers a range of support including inclusion and activity, Direct Payment scheme and short breaks.
