As we head into September, Frome Town Council are helping you to get on your bike by offering a 50% discount on the town’s EBikes. Which means you can hire a bike for a whole day for just £5.
The offer is ideal for anyone concerned about their impact on the climate and in search of an alternative to car travel. Electric power assisted bicycles help make cycling easier and are a good way to reduce environmental impact and save money.
If you have been considering getting your own EBike this is can help you try before you buy, and you’ll soon see why so many people are big fans. You can also now purchase an EBike experience voucher as a gift for someone who would love to whizz around Frome for the day.
Mayor of Frome Mark Dorrington said, “There are so many positives about cycling – it’s good for your physical health, mental wellbeing and for the environment. Using an EBike is a great way to started and is an easy and fun way to travel around Frome.”
There’s also an exciting family event for kids who love to cycle heading to the Old Showfield on 8th September from 12.30 – 4.30pm. Organised by Frome Lions and Leos, Frome Town Council are supporting the event and will be there with the EBikes to try out, as well as firm Frome favourite the smoothie bike.
