Support for businesses in Frome is on the increase with various initiatives from Frome Town Council and the Chamber of Commerce. The monthly business breakfast has become one of the most popular events for local businesses who thrive on connections with other local companies sharing their knowledge and experience. With more than 50 people attending the recent business breakfasts the success of this format is due to the wide range of subjects discussed and guest speakers.
The August business breakfast which takes place at 7am on Tuesday 2nd August at The Archangel Hotel takes ‘Creating a vision for your business’ as its theme. Led by business consultant Cllr Jean Boulton together with Meki Nattero and Carmel Reid the breakfast session will look at ways to envisage the future of our enterprises and the importance of this in shaping what we do – how we take opportunities, how we prioritise and how energetic and committed we feel.
Cllr Jean Boulton says “In this breakfast session we will lead you in how to create a vision – how to free the brain to think laterally, how to make unusual connections, surface convictions and visual images that convey the energy behind why we do the work we do. Each person will have a chance to create a vision for the way ahead – for their business or for their life – a vision that can renew energy, give clarity and shape the way ahead.”
The business breakfast series has proved invaluable in helping to identify what businesses need, how they can support each other and give back to the community. If you would like to join the growing number of businesses attending these breakfast events put the 2nd of August in your diary.
Any local business or organisation, big or small is welcome to attend. The event costs £10 per person and includes a delicious buffet breakfast.
