There are two tiers of local government which serve residents in the county of Somerset: unitary and town or parish councils. In Frome, the local authorities are Somerset Council and Frome Town Council.
From the July 2024 General Election, Frome is now in the new Parliamentary Constituency of Frome and East Somerset. Our MP is Anna Sabine (Liberal Democrats).
