What is Corporate Social Responsibility?
How can businesses share their expertise and resources to help the community? What do community-based organisations need? Do you have storage or meeting space, or could you share professional skills or give careers advice?
To be held at Frome Town Hall on 27th March at 6pm, this Discuss & Do will share ideas and examples of what businesses can do and what the community needs.
Councillor Jean Boulton says, “often businesses have skills or resources that they don’t realise could make a big difference to community organisations. Corporate social responsibility is partly about ethical sourcing and marketing and pricing. But it is also about how businesses can engage with their local communities in new and creative ways.”
Discuss & Do is a free and unique programme of events in business and organisational skills to support local enterprises. The events are organised by Frome and District Chamber of Commerce, Frome Town Council and supported by Enterprise Mendip
