A revised outline planning application for the demolition of factory buildings, design studio, former social club and garages to facilitate mixed use redevelopment of housing, neighbourhood centre, open space and associated works has been submitted to Mendip District Council.The proposal is for 160 dwellings and the plans and accompanying documents can be viewed on Mendip District Council’s website at the following link http://publicaccess.mendip.gov.uk/online-applications/applicationDetails.do?activeTab=documents&keyVal=NQ2ZRUKPGXC00 and a hard copy is available to view at the Town Council Offices.The Town Council has been consulted on the proposals and will discuss the proposals at the next Council meeting on 22 July 2015.
