Frome Town Council today launched a survey that seeks to gather information on the property and accommodation needs of local businesses.
The aim of the ‘Business Accommodation and Property’ study is to capture a snapshot of the current provision of business accommodation and property provision across the Frome area and assess the likely future demand and supply. Using the information gathered the study will provide options and ideas as to how anticipated future demand might be met within the local planning framework. Speaking at the launch of the study, Peter Wheelhouse, FTC’s Economic Development & Regeneration Manager said “This study represents an important element of the Council’s commitment to supporting a balanced and sustainable local business sector. A business sector that reflects Frome’s unique mix of new creative, dynamic and innovative businesses combined with the traditional agri-business sector that continues to generate new production methods and increased added value to its products”
Peter continued “The study seeks the views of all business and we would encourage anyone who has a business in the area to complete the survey and return it to the research team as soon as possible.”
