Frome and Villages Bus Users Group which is being facilitated by Frome Town Council, and led by the local community, is holding an event on Saturday 22 November to encourage people to respond to Somerset County Council’s latest proposals to cut bus funding. The cuts would affect the First Bus 161 (linking Frome with Shepton Mallet and Wells) and Frome Minibuses 424 (connecting Frome with Midsomer Norton) on Saturdays.
All are welcome to come along for an hour or so to hand out leaflets and talk to people at the bus stops about this. The rendezvous is at 09:30 outside Costa Coffee in the Market Place, Frome.
