The diggers moved into Mary Baily playing field this week to start construction of a new multi games pitch funded by Sport England. It should be complete in about a month’s time and ready for anyone to play 5-a-side soccer, basketball, hockey, cricket, handball or Street Snooker – a game that can be played by mixed ability and mixed age players.
