Frome’s new community hub will be up and running by July next year. The Town Council is to acquire the public offices on Christchurch Street West from Somerset County Council for this purpose.
Frome Community Hub will be a dynamic space where local groups can come and meet, community services can be provided and offices can be rented. This community space will belong to the people of Frome. We are talking to as many local voluntary and charitable groups as possible to explore their interest in being part of the hub and we shall be asking some local professionals to help us design the interior and make this iconic building a really special place for the community.
Local people are invited to take part in a brief survey to give us an idea of their priorities for the hub. We have had a fantastic response to date so thanks to everyone who has taken part. But there is still time to get involved as the survey closes on 9 July.
