Welcome to the latest edition of Frome Matters. As always, I am pleased to share details about some of the exciting community events and initiatives happening over the next few weeks.
We’ll be recognising International Women’s Day with a community action Forum focused on tackling violence against women and girls and two Plastic Free. Period pop-ups to help break down barriers to menstrual equity, ensuring that all young menstruators in Frome have access to sustainable, safe, and stigma-free period products.
We also have an update on the ongoing efforts to improve the cleanliness of our town centre and details on the Big Walk and Wheel campaign taking place in schools at the end March to encourage more active travel locally.
