September is shaping up to be another exciting month, full of engaging and enriching community events.
The first of the Lunch Bunch meets was a great success with an array of positive feedback and lot’s of people stopping by for a game and a chat over lunch. And I’m delighted that there is still time to join in the fun on Wednesdays throughout September.
We’ve then got an evening event at the Town Hall taking a closer look at ways in Plastic Free. Period can help care for people and planet. As well as a Skate Jam at Victoria Park to highlight the love of wheeled spots in Frome while gathering valuable feedback from the community on their feelings about the park.
We’ve also got an opportunity to get involved in looking after our wonderful green spaces as a Volunteer Ranger. And if you know, or are part of a community group, look for funds to get a special project underway then please take a look at our Community Grants which have just opened.
