Frome Birth Talk is a small charity that provides free counselling services for pregnant people, new parents and people who have experienced baby loss in the local area. Anyone who is pregnant, or has had or lost a baby in the last two years, can self-refer by emailing info@fromebirthtalk.org.uk.
Frome Birth Talk also offers three in-person groups:
Bump to Baby for non-mobile babies and their parents is a friendly group held on Wednesdays 10am to 11.30am at the Moxon Suite within Frome Community Hospital. A supportive community for parents navigating those first few months with a baby!
Frome Birth Talk Toddler Group is a group for parents and their pre-school children of any age, held at Trinity Hall on Fridays, from 9.30am to 11.30am. A great space for toddlers to burn off energy and play with toys, while parents enjoy a hot drink!
Baby Loss Support Group is a monthly in-person support group for anyone who has experienced baby loss – no matter how or when their loss occurred. The group meets on the first Wednesday of each month from 7-9pm at Frome Town Hall. We are open to everyone – including people who have lost a pregnancy, had a termination, had a still birth or experienced the death of a child. This group is facilitated by qualified counsellors with experience in this area.
