The Good Heart

The Good Heart is an independent experimental project dedicated to exploring kindness.

The Good Heart looks to nurture and celebrate the natural kindness of people of Frome and encourage anything which enhances the common good. This culminates in the annual Kindess Festival.

The Good Heart also hosts a café, open Monday – Saturday lunchtimes, offering affordable and nutritious home-cooked vegetarian, plant-based and coeliac-friendly meals. All hot drinks are free of charge and there are games and books for children and adults. They take a pay-it-forward approach, giving you the opportunity to sponsor a future meal for someone in need. And if you’re short of money, just offer whatever you can afford.
