The next council meeting is at 7pm on the 7th December at Frome Town Hall.
It will start with a presentation from Doug Stewart, the new CEO of Edventure who will be sharing both what they have been up to but also their new plans for the future.
The safety of School Children as they walk to and from school is the driving force behind the Safer School Streets Scheme. Following extensive consultation by Sustrans this is the final opportunity for the plans to be looked at by the public and councillors before being submitted for the Safety Audit commissioned by Somerset Highways. Council will vote regarding whether this set of designs will be submitted to the County for permission.
And then there will be a discussion and a vote about the fountain at the Boyle Cross. It has been turned off due to maintenance issues but now the additional planters have been installed it is time for a decision around whether it should be turned on again.
