Hornbeams Nursery and Foundation Stage Unit is a 24 place nursery in Hemington near Radstock. The nursery is part of a beautiful Victorian Village school, and enjoys the use of wonderful grounds and a tranquil rural setting.
Hornbeams Nursery is open 38 weeks of the year and is registered to take children from the age of 2 years.
The Nursery and Foundation Stage Unit is staffed by an Early Years Teacher and experienced level 3 Early Years Practitioners. As a smaller than average group they have a high adult to child ratio, which means they are able to offer a more individual and tailored experience for your child.
As a Foundation Stage Unit, children from the Reception class join the nursery children every morning. During this time all children have the opportunity to free play and take part in planned Early Years Foundation Stage curricular activities. These activities support children’s early learning and development, providing children with the best start before joining key stage 1.
