It’s that time again folks. It’s time to get florally creative for Frome in Bloom!
Back after a two-year break Frome in Bloom would love to see your entries across all the categories.
Eve Berry committee member of Frome In Bloom said: “It’s great to be back but we would really like the community’s support this year, so whether you are a school and business or a private household, don’t be shy, get your entrants in. Remember just because you enter doesn’t mean you are opening your garden – there will just be a couple of judges come round for an hour!
The Frome in Bloom Committee keep entries free and also support other initiatives in the community such as the Selwood Plant sale and the children’s sunflower growing competition. Eve continued: “At the recent Selwood plant sale, we gave away sunflower plants to young children to grow for the sunflower competition, so we are very much looking forward to seeing how well they have done along with all the other entries.”
Entry forms can be collected from the Frome Town Hall, The Library, the Cheese and Grain or downloaded from below. The competition is free to enter with 30 wide ranging classes to choose from to cater for all ages, abilities and premises. Full details are included within the form and please return your entries asap either by email: raygardener.rc@gmail.com or post to the address listed in the form.
The competition closes on June 26th with judging taking place between 12th and 26th July.
At the beginning of September all participants are invited to a free presentation evening where Frome in Bloom celebrate everyone’s achievements. So, get your entries in from the categories below and watch this space!
