As we head closer to the end of 2021 it’s exciting to look at what has been achieved recently. For example, in the last three months the Wild about Trees team have planted over 2,500 trees and hedgerows for Frome. I’m also delighted by the number of community group applications to the People’s Budget Town Vote.
We’re also looking forward to the projects we will be launching in the new year such as; ‘Plastic free. Period’ which aims to promote more sustainable (and plastic free) menstrual products to help save money as well as reducing waste and protecting the environment, the ‘Wild Bunch’ which is all about wildlife-friendly approaches to gardening in our neighbourhoods, as well as the next Link and Learn community training focused on tools for tackling tricky conversations.
