Victoria Park
We’re using the principles of PB to introduce a town discussion and a town vote about options for providing toilets and a café in Victoria Park.
You’ll be able to vote for 1 of 4 Options
- Option 0: closing the existing toilets
- Option 1: refurbishing the existing toilets
- Option 2: new toilets
- Option 3: new toilets and a better café
When you vote, you’ll be asked two questions:
- Do you want public toilets in Victoria Park?
If you answer No to this question, you’ll be asked to confirm your vote to Close the toilets.
If you answer Yes to this question, you’ll be asked a second question:
2. How do you think we should provide better toilets in the park: option 1, 2 or 3?
You’ll then be able to confirm your preferred option.
Where can I find out more about the options?
We’re currently working on information sheets to cover all 4 options, including artist’s impressions and illustrations of what they could look like.
These will be available soon – and you’ll be able to view them on this page of the website; or by calling in to our office. We’ll also have boards up in Victoria Park this spring.
Which will give you plenty of time to think about all the options before you vote!Voting
- Voting will be online for a fortnight
- Voting dates TBC
- If you don’t have access to the internet – or you’d just prefer to do it the old-fashioned way – then you can register your vote in person at the Town Hall during the voting fortnight
