PB is about local people voting to make direct decisions about how local public budgets are spent.

We’ve set aside £7,500 for the play areas at Packsaddle and Tower View – so a total of £15,000.
At each site, the vote will be a straightforward one – you’ll be able to choose one of three options:
- Option 1: we spend £7,500 on new play equipment
- Option 2: we spend £5,000 on new play equipment and £2,500 on play workers
- Option 3: we spend £2,500 on new play equipment and £5,000 on play workers
Voting at Packsaddle
- Anyone living in Frome over the age of 8 can vote
- We’ll be holding events in the Packsaddle play area on Thursday 25th October 15:00-17:00, Saturday 27th October 10:30-12:30 and Tuesday 30th October 14:00-16:00
- You can vote on the day: one person – one vote
- And you’ll be able to vote during the week before the voting day by returning a paper vote to Frome Town Hall
Voting at Tower View
- Anyone living in Frome over the age of 8 can vote
- We’ll be holding events in the Tower View play area on Friday 26th October 15:00-17:00, Saturday 27th October 14:00-16:00 and Tuesday 30th October 10:30-12:30
- You can vote on the day: one person – one vote
- And you’ll be able to vote during the week beforehand by returning a paper vote to Frome Town Hall

This vote is one of three votes that will be taking place in Frome as part of the move to Participatory Budgeting.
