Hear how the Town Council is improving well-being in Frome and social scene

Frome Town Council’s meetings are designed to engage as many people as possible; anyone attending is free to make their points at the beginning of the agenda or when a relevant item on the agenda is discussed. Cllrs and members of the public sit together to encourage dialogue.

The next Council meeting is on Wednesday 7 December 2016, 7pm Rook Lane Chapel, Bath Street, Frome BA11 1DN.

The main item for discussion will be around well-being in Frome. As funding is stretched and austerity continues to bite, the Town Council proposes to do more at the local level to help bridge the gaps that are left. You can read the full report here.

Findings of the Performing Arts Panel will also be presented to Council – with many exciting recommendations. Click here to read the report.

Other matters being discussed at the meeting include an update on the Frome Town Hall, including: progress on the refurbishment project and on enabling as many community groups as possible to use it.

Meetings are open to all and everyone is encouraged to contribute to discussions. You can find out what’s on the agenda by visiting https://www.frometowncouncil.gov.uk/meeting/council-3/ or checking out the council’s Facebook page: www.facebook.com/FromeTownCouncil/ or on Twitter @FromeCouncil
