The following road closures are due to take place during December 2020.
Rodden Road
Somerset County Council have issued an extension to the temporary road closure notice prohibiting all traffic from travelling along Rodden Road for a distance of approximately 148 metres as shown on the map. The road is now due to open on 31st January 2021.
This order will enable R & W Rail to carry out bridge repairs and improvements on behalf of Network Rail.
The ongoing works are expected to continue until 31st January 2021 between the hours of 00.00-23.59.

Silver Lane
Somerset County Council have issued a temporary road closure notice prohibiting all traffic from travelling along Silver Lane for a distance of approximately 203 metres as shown on the map.
This order will enable enable Somerset Highways to carry out resurfacing works – 30th November and 8th December 2020 (7 days – 07.30 – 17.30hrs, excluding the weekend)
The works are expected to last until 8th December 2020 between the hours of (07:30 – 17:30, excluding weekends) for a total of 7 days.

Feltham Hill
Somerset County Council have issued a temporary road closure notice prohibiting all traffic from travelling along Feltham Hill for a distance of approximately 40 metres as shown on the map.
This order will enable Network Rail to carry out a safety examination of the bridge structure.
The order becomes effective on the 3rd December with works expected to start on the 7th December 2020 and last until 8th December 2020 between the hours of 22.00-06.00 for a total of 1 night.

Coal Lane, Selwood
Somerset County Council have issued a temporary road closure notice prohibiting all traffic from travelling along Coal Lane for a distance of approximately 434 metres as shown on the map.
This order will enable Barden Network Engineering to install aerial cable on behalf of BT Openreach.
The order becomes effective on the 10th December with works expected to start on the 14th December 2020 and last until 16th December 2020 between the hours of 00.00-23.59 for a total of 3 days, excluding the weekend.

Weymouth Road
Somerset County Council have issued a temporary road closure notice prohibiting all traffic from travelling along Weymouth Road for a distance of approximately 10 metres as shown on the map.
This order will enable Bristol Water to carry out lead replacement works.
The order becomes effective on the 10th December with works expected to start on the 16th December 2020 and last until 21st December 2020 between the hours of 00.00-23.59 for a total of 6 days, excluding the weekend.
